The 2017 Toyota Yaris Sedan recently won the 2017 Auto123.com Subcompact Sedan of the Year award after getting more votes than the Honda Fit and Chevrolet Spark.
It should probably thank Mazda, which agreed to share the platform and interior layout of the short-lived, next-generation Mazda2. The Yaris Sedan boasts a youthful look and fun driving dynamics (even without a SKYACTIV engine under the hood) in addition to stellar reliability and great fuel economy characteristic of Toyota vehicles.
