Honda's updated their 2008 Odyssey minivan with new styling and features to provide more value for Canadian families who want to travel around in comfort and safety. There's a new, Canada exclusive model trim called the DX too, which offers outstanding value per dollar- just like the new minivans from Chrysler with which Odyssey will compete for sales.

"The award-winning Odyssey is regarded as the benchmark in Canada's minivan category when it comes to moving the maximum number of people in both comfort and safety," said Jim Miller, vice president of Honda Canada. "For 2008, the new DX trim is designed to provide added value for Canadian families without sacrificing safety, fuel efficiency or content."

The 2008 model features a new grille and front bumper to compliment a premium appearance, while the V6 engine's Variable Cylinder Management program has increased its cylinder-deactivated operating range for better fuel economy.

New Odyssey features include Bluetooth wireless phone integration, a 4-way powered passenger seat, rearview camera display built into rearview mirror and XM Satellite Radio. The interior has also been updated with new colors and textures for the instrument panel, along with upgraded fabric on seating surfaces. Additionally, all Odyssey seats now come with active head restraints to help reduce neck injuries in rear-end collisions, building on Odyssey's award-winning safety story.

The 2008 Odyssey starts at $31,490
