"We were quite slow in Barcelona, it is a different type of track, but we had the new aero here and hopefully it will be very good in Barcelona as well," he said.
If Jacques manages to keep his pace, his many critics will be forced to find a new punching bag. Brundle, of course, couldn't criticize David Coulthard, despite having competed within a top team, McLaren, for close to a decade but still only having managed to achieve runner-up to his teammates time and time again. His lack of pace at Imola was only less noticeable due to Red Bull's choice of Vitantonio Liuzzi in the number two car. Liuzzi, the team's third driver, put on a good show for a first time outing, and deserves credit for a cool head in front of his home crowd. Christian Klien may have been capable of scoring Red Bull's fourth points finish if he had been allowed to race, as he seemed to be on an upward trend compared to the Scot's recent slide.

No, more likely Ralf Schumacher, younger brother of seven times world Champion Michael Schumacher, will get the attention. And this time it appears to be warranted. Like Coulthard, the younger Schumacher has played second fiddle to his teammates over the years, and continues this trend by allowing Jarno Trulli to show him up in their much improved Toyota team for 2005. To add insult to injury, Ralf was penalized 25 seconds yesterday for an unsafe maneuver that obstructed Williams BMW driver Nick Heidfeld following his second pitstop, after piloting his T105 Toyota in an overly aggressive manner. The penalty pulled Heidfeld forward into the final points paying position, and resultantly dropped Ralf from any race points.
