An interactive exhibition named “Making the Future Real – Bring the Future into Production” and created by Volkswagen has been open to the public since December 1st. Visitors to the exhibition can test a number of different products and get a close-up look at many vehicles, including the Golf GT2 and the BUDD-e3 and GIRA concepts, the latter of which is equipped with self-driving technologies.
Some elements of the show were created in collaboration with the Wolfsburg Phaeno Science Center, notably a virtual tour of Paris with the use of the gesture recognition system on board Volkswagen’s I.D. electric car concept. The new exhibition aims to showcase new advances in autonomous driving now and in the years to come.
