Just announced, Volvo is planning to give away a seat on the first commercial flight of Virgin Galactic.

Virgin Galactic? If you haven't heard of the world's first commercial space tourism operator, one of billionaire entrepreneur Sir Richard Branson's more adventurous ventures, it will take flight some time within the next two to three years.

During the 30-second ad, Volvo showed its new XC90 V8 luxury sport utility, comparing its Yamaha-built powerplant to a rocket taking off into space. The twist came near the commercial's end, when the ship's pilot reveals himself as Branson, founder and chairman of The Virgin Group of Companies, owner of Virgin Galactic.
