WayRay Navion: the first holographic navigation system

Last summer, Navdy announced a new hands-free communication system that allows drivers to use navigation, respond to messages and answer calls through voice command and motion recognition. Today, WayRay replies with Navion, the world's first holographic navigation system for cars.

At the core of Navion is a technology called Infinity Focus that projects a holographic image onto the road in front of a moving vehicle. Only the driver is able to see it, and various data can be displayed including speed, the road number, and incoming obstacles.

Users can add their favourite apps, of course, and just like Navdy's system Navion offers voice command and motion recognition to help keep both hands on the steering wheel and eyes on the road.

WayRay will start taking pre-orders soon.
