The youngest son of Ferdinand Porsche turns 65 years old this weekend. One of Porsches most valuable players, Dr. Wolfgang Porsche will celebrate the important event on May 10th. A family spokesman and member of the board, he has helped oversee operations at the company since his father passed away in 1998.
Since that time, the Stuttgart native has driven the company forward with the same spirit and passion his father demonstrated in the company's upbringing. He's been at the helm for the expansion of the brand's product lineup- including the Boxster, Cayenne and upcoming Panamera GT car. Dr. Wolfgang Porsche has also contributed to increasing the company's capital to keep it running as an independent, family operation.
