Members of the Citroën WRC Team have admitted that they are behind schedule with the new DS3’s development program.
While Ford enjoys positive testing with the new Fiesta 1,6 litre turbocharged, and the new MINI Countryman covered thousands of kilometers in southern Europe, the DS3 started its first tests quite late.
Citroën justified this delay with the late annoucement of the new FIA regulations for 2011.
The 2011 WRC season will start with Rally Sweden, from February 11th to 13th.
Citroën WRC Team is expected to run with Sébastien Loeb, Sébastien Ogier, Peter van Merksteijn Jr and, probably, Kimi Raikkonen.
