Kimi Raikkonen (Citroen C4) crashed his car during shakedown stage of the Catalunya Rally on Thursday morning, and therefore will not take the start of the event tomorrow.
Raikkonen rolled his car after hitting a bank. The heavily damaged C4 Citroen finished the event on its roof in a ditch.
The car couldn't be repaired in time and the Finn will not be able to take the start on Friday morning.
Rally Catalunya will be run on mixed surfaces asphalt and gravels. Kimi Raikkonen said before the event that he expected to score a strong result in Spain.
This crash will undoubtedly not ease the relationship between Kimi and sponsor Red Bull.
