Jari-Matti Latvala (Ford) took the lead in rally GB before the last day.

On Friday evening, the Finn stood 1.1 second behind rally leader Sébastien Loeb (Citroën). On Saturday morning, Latvala reduced the gap, before he took three special stage wins in a row, which put him in first position on Saturday evening, 6.1 seconds ahead of Loeb.

Mads Ostberg stands alone in third position, but the Norwegian driver suffered engine troubles aboard his Ford Fiesta during this third day of race.

Six special stages, including two super special stages, are still to run on Sunday in rally GB, last round of the World Rally Championship.
