Yvan Muller, WTCC championship leader, will be at the start of the Rallye de France WRC with a Citroen Xsara of Petter Solberg’s team.

The Frenchman will have the opportunity to run in his home land, as he was born in Alsace as WRC six times world champion Sébastien Loeb. He will drive the Citroen Xsara that Petter Solberg ran last season. Muller’s entry is backed by team Automeca, to rent the Xsara, and TV channel Motors TV. His codriver will be Gilles Mondésir.

Muller will have a very busy autumn, as he will fly, after Rallye de France, to Australia to run V8 Supercars race in Surfer’s Paradise from 22nd to 24nd October. Then he will travel to Okayama for the penultimate WTCC round. Then he will move to Argentina for the TC2000 race in Buenos Aires, before last WTCC round in Macao.
