The rest of the 300M's interior doesn't disappoint either. The leather is attractive and of relatively high quality, and the seats are extremely comfortable having multi-adjustments and ahhh... heated cushion and lumbar areas on both driver and passenger sides. The seat controls, with their 'Mercedes-like' adjustment buttons, are also easy to use. As in any luxury car worth its salt, the 300M's driver's seat has a memory option that was especially appreciated by my wife Jennifer. She despises searching for that perfect position after her thoughtless husband has moved her seat out of place. The 'thoughtful' seat on the other hand, moves you into place when you turn the key, while adjusting the stereo to your favorite station to boot. That said, some competitive luxury brand's memory systems adjust the mirrors and steering wheel too.

Its rear quarters are commodious, having enough leg and headroom for even the largest of folks. All in all, the interior of the 300M is a very pleasant place to have to spend quality time.

Quality time? That's right. Get into the driver's seat and the term takes on new meaning. Every now and again I just couldn't help myself. I'd jump in for the sake of driving, and blast down the road. It manages the tight corners incredibly well for such a large car. The meaty all-season radials on massive 17-inch rims gripped the road surface with confidence while the M went from an apex to a crest to another sweeping right hander to yet another undulating dip... all the while never complaining one iota. Its big shoes planted squarely on the ground, its suspension firm yet unruffled without much if any body lean. Yes indeed, Chrysler has managed to create quite a sports sedan.
