Much to do with product czar Bob Lutz 2003 just might be GM's year for concept cars. Each of its new introduction would be a magnificent addition to its production lineup and as a car enthusiast, I hope every one will find its way the dealership showroom floor. While the Pontiac G6 might be the closest to production spec, the SS is the one 'halo' car that might best put Chevy back in the headlights of performance car buyers.

"It's a vehicle to be shared with your buddies," continued von Holzhausen. "It builds on Chevrolet's great performance heritage, while updating the SS concept for a whole new generation."

Bryan Nesbitt stated that the SS "points toward the next-generation of Chevy SS vehicles," let's hope his words ring true when completely updated SS production cars arrive.
