Tech, tech and more tech, but these models make them easy to use

Lincoln Navigator

Clearly, the big Navigator has found a way to melt the hearts of the WardsAuto team. It was included earlier this year on the organization’s 10 Best Interiors list, and now it earns a spot here for the UX it provides its well-heeled buyers.

Maybe it’s the sidestep that juts out to welcome the driver on approach, or the many ways the interior’s functions and screen displays can be customized, or the screen display itself that lights up in an impressive show when you start the engine. For sure the wonderful massaging seats had something to do with it.

WardsAuto also noted such features as wireless phone charging, WiFi hotspot, third-row USB ports, rapid phone pairing and the long list of drive assist systems. Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility is standard, and the voice activation system was found to be faultless.

Surprisingly, also cited was the placement of the transmission shift buttons on the centre stack; though it’s true that it frees up space on the centre console itself, we’re not sure that everyone would agree it’s a UX plus. To each his or her own…
