We're trying to figure out what Ford peeps had going through their minds when they came up with the idea for this ad.
We imagine the board meeting must have sounded something like this: “What would you never do with your wagon and if you did it, no one would think you were cool for doing it?”
The answer was obviously: “While your wife sits comfortably on the hatch, you climb down a steep rock-faced cliff with a rope attached to the car's differential”.
We also love the fact that the guy is standing, getting ready, on a rock that is hanging precariously close to the edge. You gotta have some serious cojones to own a Squire!
