In the end the Pikes Peak concept has some amazingly advanced technological features that will appeal to many people, if built, but I still stand firmly in my remark that "it is an acquired taste." It takes more than electronically sensitive door handles and adaptive air suspension to win over the hearts and wallets of potential buyers. The concept's styling is definitely "out there" in the 14,110 ft range. Still its combination of power, poise and prestige are all encompassing, and possibly enough to cause this late bloomer to rise above the fierce competition in the SUV segment of the market.
