I found braking to be quite good, due to the Q45's fairly large vented discs, 290 mm (11.4 in) x 28 mm (1.1 in) behind the front wheels and 292 mm (11.5 in) x 15 mm (0.6 in) at the rear, assisted by 4-channel, 4-sensor ABS and Electronic Brake force Distribution (EBD) with Brake Assist (BA). The pedal feel was responsive while fade, even after repeated assertive application, was minimal considering the size of car.

But here I am again talking about the all out performance of a car designed to whisk executives back and forth from the gated community to the corner office each day. Most of its prospective buyers will be at least as interested in its features as performance, which is an area Infiniti won't let them down.

Both Q45 models include Infiniti's Traction Control System (TCS) and Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) as standard equipment, a system that controls brake pressure and engine torque automatically on slippery road surface situations. Intelligent Cruise Control, which uses the brakes, the throttle as well as laser sensors to maintain a set distance between the Q45 and a vehicle in front of the car, is also part of the base, or Sport, package.
Of course, one of the most elegantly styled interiors in the full-size luxury car segment - especially if genuine bird's-eye maple wood trim is chosen - features the requisite power windows, power locks with remote entry, power remote trunk and fuel door access, power memory seats, heated power remote mirrors, etc, etc. The 10-way driver's and eight-way front passenger's seats with memory are incredibly comfortable, as are those in back - the latter of which offer excellent head, hip, shoulder and legroom, while sheltering passengers with integrated sunscreen protection.
