The Slice incorporates a few distinct characteristics not usually found in its class, including seat integral shoulder belts, more convenient than those mounted on the pillars. Fold the thin seatbacks forward and rear 'friction pads' line up to form a level loading area. The smart design allows the concept to carry longer, wide cargo that wouldn't be possible otherwise.
The Kia's dash, also trimmed in 'hazard' orange, is probably the vehicle's most interesting element. Its large primary gauges are located in front of the driver in a conventional hooded cluster, nothing out of the ordinary here. The center stack, however, is fairly original, protruding outward toward the driver and passenger. 
Its silver metallic surfaces incorporate the transmission's shift lever, up high close to the driver's right hand, while ultra-large often-used secondary pushbuttons surround. At the very top, in line with the windshield, a pop-up LCD screen offers navigation and infotainment. The center console between the seats on the floor, that was designed to resemble a motorcycle fuel tank, offers sizable storage. Other storage areas can be found in the door panels and over the rear wheels.
