Dual front and side-impact airbags join side curtain airbags, all actuated via electronic seat sensors. The Slice also has an extremely rigid body, designed with to withstand impact from all angles.
Kia hasn't announced any plans to build its new concept, but something along this line makes a lot of sense for the feisty Korean automaker. The brand's extremely well executed Sorento SUV is more truck-like and can only carry a maximum of five adults while not everyone wants to be seen in a minivan, as good as Kia's Sedona is. The Slice, minus the day-glow orange trim, could be a serious contender in the burgeoning crossover segment.
