The Sebring is very attractive inside, with an upscale gauge package and better than average quality dash, console and door plastics. It will receive upgraded features and restyled door panels for 2004 (2001 Sebring Sedan interior shown). (Photo: DaimlerChrysler)

Additionally, the 2004 sedan offers new 16-inch painted aluminum wheels on LX and LXi models, while new chrome-finished alloy wheels are optional on the LXi, adding an upscale look. The Sebring's rear end design stays relatively unchanged except for the addition of Chrysler's winged badge capping off the decklid.

Its upgraded exterior styling is complimented with new interior features, including an optional electrochromic rear view mirror plus steering wheel audio system controls. The refreshed Sebring interior includes new door trim panels and updated seat fabrics in three new colors, Dark Slate Gray, Taupe and Deep Jade. The gauge cluster is already one of the most attractive in its class, with chronograph-style white-faced instruments looking much more expensive than its reasonable price would cause to assume. Authentic looking woodgrain and metal accents add to the elegant interior while its plastic quality is better than average. Also, its well bolstered driver and passenger seats, available in leather in the LXi, are more supportive than those from any other domestic offering. Rear seat passengers experience excellent shoulder room, good headroom and decent legroom too.
