But does it handle like a Viper? That would be pretty hard considering its height and weight but the SRT-10's 22-inch diameter polished aluminum "Viper-style" 10-spoke rims, the largest OEM wheels available, will definitely help. They frame bold red brake calipers that clamp down on the largest rotors in the production pickup class, while its suspension has been sport-tuned to get the most out of all the power.
"This is a unique truck," Schroer continued. "The Ram SRT-10 simply dominates the road."
But it doesn't only dominate in the realms of performance. Its styling is as intimidating as trucks get. A billet grille, massive hood scoop, aggressive air dam integrating large foglights, sculpted rocker panels and rear wing overtop the liftgate point the Ram SRT-10 in an aggressively athletic direction.
"Our theme was to add muscle where it was needed, not unnecessary adornment," commented Trevor Creed, Senior Vice President, Design, Chrysler Group. "We spent a lot of time in the wind tunnel with the Ram SRT-10, so that is why you see a deep front fascia with a splitter and a subtle rear wing. In fact, we have managed the aerodynamics of the Ram SRT-10 to give this vehicle performance more befitting a sports car than a truck. The rear wing is not only functional, providing a reduction in lift, but it also provides a reduction in drag, which is a rarity for a wing."
