big speedo in the middle, and temperature gauge on the right, all backlit in glowing blue with more aluminum accents. Right in the middle of the dash is the big LCD screen that features the Acura Navigation System with Voice Recognition. This means you can talk to it and it will do what ever you tell it to - anything within reason, that is. If you're not big on the spoken word, you can access all the controls for temperature, audio, and navigation using a dial that functions similarly to a mouse, located just below the screen.

One of the RD-X's best features accessed through the magic screen is AcuraLink, the wireless connection I just mentioned which provides real-time traffic information, allows you to go online and download music, reading materials

and various other diversions, which you can then store on a built-in hard drive. Not only is the hard drive functional, but there is also a window so you can see it whirring and clicking, highlighted by more neon blue lighting - future-cool indeed.

If you want to know what the interior of the RD-X will really look like, step on down to your local Acura dealer and ask to sit in a TSX cockpit. You can bet your can of noodles that assembly, materials, and features will be in the same league, but with everything a little bit larger and SUV-like, plus the entire experience will be higher off the ground.
