Aston has always done a good job of interiors, and the AMV8 Vantage will follow this tradition. Those in charge of the brand have put forth great effort to make sure all interior controls are unique to Aston Martin, rather than pulled from Ford's vast components bin. A variety of leather surfaces mix with anodized aluminum to form a classically contemporary design while its upscale switchgear might be closer to buttons and levers from high-end audio equipment than from automotive instrumentation.

"From the outset, the look, feel and functionality of the interior was a key priority", said Fisker. "Aston Martin is taking a new direction in its approach to design. We wanted to ensure the AMV8 Vantage reflected the new direction that Aston Martin is now taking - modern, advanced technology but above all Aston Martin design."
While the price of the new Aston will for the first time in many years come into the financial realm of a starter home, and resultant volumes more than double the firm's current output, the new model will still be far from commonplace.
