If there's a single word that could aptly describe the Concept X, it would be 'modern'. The stark, upright grilles and pillars

of Suzuki's past SUVs have been traded in for ones that are raked and angled, while the body profile is wedge-like instead of traditional boxy.

Muscular fenders which peak nearly at the car's waistline provide substance to this 4,996 mm (196.7 in.) long, 1,834 mm (72.2 in.) wide and 1,750 mm (68.9 in.) tall SUV. The Concept X rides on large 20-inch, asymmetrical six-spoke wheels and tires which give it a sporty look.

from its shark-like pointed nose, the Concept X is fitted with flush-mounted bumpers, plus a satin-finish grille and skid plates. Narrow, LED headlamps which wrap around the corners of the fenders provide further visual appeal. Triangular-shaped vents and exhaust pipes are perfect accents to the X's chiseled bodywork.

Swing open the front doors and the lower chrome bodywork folds down, forming a body-length running board. Access to the rear is through similar frameless and pillarless doors, although they are rear-hinged to provide easier 'step-in' entry and exit for second- and third-row passengers.
