The same holds true for the striking front grille, which was redesigned a few years back. Here, it's pretty similar to that of high-performance S-line models. The A4 Progressiv looks like it wants to eat the tarmac every time it hits the road. Further enhancing this aggressive character are an S Line-style body kit as well as an integrated rear deck spoiler.

The interior, in typical Audi fashion, is comfortable and reassuring (despite the all-back layout). Among the minor upgrades are power-adjustable front seats and a trip computer.

The Audi A4 is a premium sedan.

An A4, first and foremost
Progressiv is basically just another name for the A4. One way or the other, buyers get the same outstanding build quality, fit and finish, the same advanced technologies and the same 2.0-liter TFSI engine which combines a turbocharger with fuel stratified injection. Clearly, the Audi A4 is a premium sedan with a strong, well-deserved reputation, especially when you're able to fully exploit the 200 horsepower at your disposal.

Progressive? Not so sure. Pleasant? Absolutely!
