Pricing: 2012 vs. 2011
The 2012 320i will start at $35,900, or $600 more than the 323i it replaces. The 2012 328i will cost $43,600, about two grand more than the outgoing version. As for the 335i, it will retail for $51,200, a reduction of 200 bucks. All three offer more equipment for the money, in addition to boasting increased performance and better fuel economy.

The 328i and 335i will be on sale in Canada starting Feb. 11, while the 320i will arrive in April.

The new 2012 BMW 3 Series Sedan is impressive; the Audi A4 and the Cadillac CTS suddenly seem old, and the Mercedes C-Class feels like a little more work could’ve been done to it. And BMW’s not through; all-wheel-drive versions will soon appear, as well as the ActiveHybrid 3, which gets a gas-electric powertrain good for 335 hp, 330 lb-ft of torque and a combined fuel economy average of 6.4L/100km.

In Canada last year, the 3 Series outsold every other compact luxury car, and after a ride in the sixth-generation edition, we think its sales lead will likely continue for years to come.
