While anyone who has driven in this spectacular part of the planet knows, the motoring infrastructure leaves plenty to be desired, unlike the scenery. To compensate for roads the Romans first built, the CC enables the driver to select suspension settings to match the road surface and one’s mood.
I was highly content to select the ‘Comfort’ mode for all of my driving, irrespective of my mood ring’s colour or the condition of the French pavement. In this setting, the CC maintains its athleticism and agility while providing occupants with absorbent yet composed, secure ride dynamics.

The CC is an oft-overlooked upscale four-door coupe that would be completely justified in wearing a nameplate from one of those more pretentious German car companies. For 2013, the Euro-inspired CC receives styling changes that enhance its sense of elegance, moving it even closer the “others” in the prestigious German auto market.
Pricing for the 2013 CC won’t be announced until the car is officially unveiled at this year’s Toronto International Auto Show, but if recent VW accomplishments hold true, look for greater value in the CC’s price structure.
