Cons: The 2015 IS C still rides the IS’s last-generation platform and it’s starting to look a little dated in some areas compared to the all-new Lexus IS Sedan. Plus, it doesn’t have the new IS “look.” Shameful.
2015 Lexus IS C Pricing and Fuel Economy: The 2015 Lexus IS C is available in two models and pricing is as follows (excluding freight and prep and any other applicable taxes or fees):
- 2015 Lexus IS 250C: $54,350
- 2015 Lexus IS 350C: $61,800
Depending on the selected engine and grade level, the Lexus IS C can achieve highway cruising mileage as low as 7.8L/10km (for the 2.5L), with city fuel consumption rated between 11.2L and 12.2L/100km.
Improvements and Changes: Little to no changes were made for the 2015 model. We’re still waiting on that update…
2015 Lexus IS C Powertrain: The 2015 Lexus IS 250C features a 2.5L DOHC V6 engine, automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive. Output is rated at 204 horsepower. For more thrills, the IS 350C offers up an award-winning 3.5L V6, which generates over 300 horsepower. Constructed from lightweight aluminum, this powerplant keeps vehicle weight to a minimum, while lightening the load over the front axle for more responsive handling.
