MISS: Perhaps I’m jumping the gun here, but the Malibu’s been revisited 42 times in the last four years and I think they should turn it off for a few years and return with a smashing new car and re-familiarize themselves with success… Be that as it may, the new car looks better, so that’s a start.

HISS: Yes, that’s a hiss. It’s a cross between a hit and a miss. It’s a hit because it has evolved leaps and bounds and that should be acknowledged. The specs speak for themselves. And it’s quite pleasant to look at.
However, the Toyota Camry still has the stronghold on the midsize sedan segment, along with the Hyundai Sonata, Honda Accord, and Mazda6. It’ll be hard to really sink teeth into their sales; then again, Chevrolet is brining out some great new product.
