2015 Volkswagen Touareg Price and Fuel Economy: There are four versions of the Volkswagen Touareg currently available and each has a diesel variant as well, and their pricing is as follows:

In terms of fuel economy, the 2015 VW Touareg in TDI guise will return 8.1L/100km on the highway, and 12L/100km in the city. And for the non-diesel-burning mill those numbers increase slightly to 10.3L/100km in the city and 14.3L/100km in the city. 

Powertrain: While there are a good number of models to choose from, there are only two engines, a 3.0 TDI (240 hp and 406 lb-ft of torque) and a 3.6L FSI VR6 (280 hp and 266 lb-ft of torque). Regardless of engine choice, power is handled via an 8-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission with Volkswagen’s Dynamic Shift Program. 

All Volkswagen Touareg’s are equipped with 4MOTION all-wheel drive with adaptive torque distribution. 

Changes and Improvements: Since the facelift in 2014, the Volkswagen Touareg has seen no major changes and improvements. 

Cargo Capacity: All Volkswagen Touareg’s feature 909 litres of cargo space and seating for five. Fold those rear seats down and the trunk space jumps to 1,812 litres. The Touareg can also tow up to 3,500kg. 

Safety: The 2015 Volkswagen Touareg is equipped with all manner of safety equipment and standard airbags, as well as an optional driver assist system that features adaptive cruise control, front assist with city emergency braking, around-view cameras and lane assist.
