Journalists attending Press Day at the Auto Show getting underway this week in Montreal will have the opportunity to meet Félix Lamy, the 21-year-old Gatineau native who won the Canadian edition of the 2016 INFINITI Engineering Academy. The victory earned him a paid 12-month internship with Renault Sport Formula One and with Infiniti, and he is working among other projects on exploring sharing possibilities between race-car technologies and Infiniti vehicles.

“It’s an honour to have been chosen the first Canadian winner of the INFINITI Engineering Academy, and I still can’t quite believe it two months after starting this internship that is almost too good to be true,” said Félix Lamy. “Thanks to the INFINITI Engineering Academy, INFINITI is accomplishing great things that no one else can get close to equaling. I find myself working at the cutting edge of automotive engineering and of motorized sport; it’s incredible to learn how these two worlds connect and to see the results for each side. It’s a pleasure for me to come back to Quebec to share my journey with those who have contributed to my career in engineering.”

We all wish him the best of success in his grand adventure!
