It remains one of the best sub-compacts on the market

Unveiled at the New York International Auto Show in April, the updated new 2018 Toyota Yaris Hatchback is now available at Toyota dealerships across Canada.

“Canadians love smaller cars, and the Yaris Hatchback demonstrates why,” said Cyril Dimitris, Vice President, Toyota Canada Inc. “For 2018, we’ve kept the driving fun and efficiency that makes Yaris a popular choice, then enhanced it with new style plus more safety and comfort features. This year, there’s even more to love about Yaris.”

The new features for 2018 include remodeled front and back ends, new wheels and revised interior finishes; also added as standard features are heated front seats, backup camera and hill-start assist control.

The 1.5L, 4-cylinder engine under the hood can once again be wedded to either a 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic transmission.

Here are the details for the different Yaris trims:

  • The 2018 Toyota Yaris Hatchback 3-Door CE ($15,390 with manual transmission, $16,370 with automatic) includes an audio system fitted with a 6.1-inch screen display, Bluetooth connectivity, an ECO drive indicator and new 15-inch steel wheels.
  •
  • The 2018 Toyota Yaris Hatchback 5-Door LE ($16,700 with manual transmission, $17,700 with automatic) adds A/C, keyless entry, cruise control and power adjustable heated exterior mirrors.
  •
  • Lastly, the 2018 Toyota Yaris Hatchback 5-Door SE ($18,350 with manual transmission; $19,350 with automatic) features Sirius XM satellite radio, six speakers for the audio system, special sport seat covering, leather-wrapped steering wheel and gear knob, new 16-inch alloy wheels, a rear spoiler, projector-style halogen headlamps, LED daytime running lights and much more.
