Every year, electric vehicles take up more space, both figuratively and literally, at the various auto shows on the calendar. Some find the movement towards this type of mobility is taking far too long, but take it from those who attend all these events: their advances are noticeable at every event, year after year.

In Los Angeles, in addition to the electrified vehicles on display at each manufacturer’s stand, there was a dedicated space reserved for EVs form any and all brands. Here we see the Habaniro concept from Kia.

Yes, this is the Chiron from Bugatti, and yes you read correctly, it is made entirely of Lego pieces. It was put together in August of 2018 and it took an astounding 13,438 hours to put it together, or just slightly longer than the average piece of IKEA furniture.

This Chiron consists of over one million Lego pieces, including 2,304 Lego Power Functions motors. These actually make of the Chiron Lego a working car, which can move at up to 30 km/h. The combined hp from all the working motors is… 5. The model weighs 1.5 tons.
