Popular, the new Gladiator? Maybe a little. On the first day Jeep starting taking orders for the new Launch Edition of the pickup, all 4,190 units found buyers, and dealers had no choice but to put up the Sold Out sign.
The Launch Edition is characterized by special badging made of forged aluminum on the rear gate, which show the limited-edition number of the vehicle (1 of 1,490, for example). Other distinguishing features include black 33-inch wheels fitted with all-terrain tires and black leather seating with red contrasting stitching.
Like all Gladiator models out of the gate, the Launch Edition runs on the FCA Group’S 3.6L V6 Pentastar engine, which delivers 285 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque for the model.
The standard transmission is a 6-speed manual gearbox, with an option to upgrade to an 8-speed automatic unit.
Our review of the 2020 Jeep Gladiator

As for those 4,190 brand-new Gladiator owners, they had to visit a specific website to place their orders, and doing so were entered in a “Find Your Freedom” draw to win a year’s salary, set at $100,000 USD, on condition they send in a personalized video featuring their new Gladiator.
The exact price of the new 2020 Jeep Gladiator Launch Edition is set at $60,815 USD, and for that buyers get a dressed-up version of the Rubicon variant, which sits at the top of the model hierarchy.
