The very first vehicle from the new all-electric division, created from scratch by Hyundai, bears the 5 badge. The Ioniq 5 electric crossover features a very distinctive shape with knife-edge cuts and lines. It's expected to arrive in the fall and could be capable of driving 470 to 480 km on a single charge. If so, that will make it very attractive to skittish would-be EV buyers.
