The Japanese auto manufacturer known for zoom-zoom driving from the likes of the MX-5 roadster and the Mazda3 compact car, among other, has resisted offering any type of electrification on board its models sold in North America until this year.
Now, the Mazda MX-30 will finally enter our market before the end of the year, as a 2022 model. However, the model's short range (200 km according to the WLTP cycle) will limit the small vehicle's clientele to mainly urban users. Still, we’re pretty confident the MX-30 will be as fun to drive as its combustion engine cousins.
