Nissan is doubling the size of the Murano lineup for 2027 with the addition of a new trim. The Murano Dark Armor differentiates itself primarily via a darker presentation and sits just below the Platinum model. That makes it de facto the new base trim for the SUV.
2027 Nissan Murano – Canadian pricing
The 2027 Nissan Murano is on sale now in Canada, with an MSRP (Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price) of $55,898 for the Dark Armor model. The Murano Platinum carries an MSRP of $58,498.
Freight and PDI charges of $2,050 come over and above those starting prices.
As mentioned, the Murano lineup remains limited in Canada, Nissan having eliminated the two previous entry-level variants (SV and SL) last year.

2027 Nissan Murano – What’s new?
The main bit of news for 2027 is the arrival of the Murano Dark Armor. This version receives several styling elements of its own, starting with 21-inch wheels painted in gloss black.
Nissan also equips it with bumpers featuring a sportier appearance, exclusive lower side mouldings and black emblems. Dark Armor badges are also applied to the front doors.
This trim is exclusively delivered with a graphite interior. Six exterior colour configurations are in the catalogue, including black, red, white and grey. Some can also be combined with a contrasting black roof.

Few changes on the technology front
For the rest, the 2027 Murano essentially carries over the current model's formula. It notably retains its 12.3-inch infotainment screen with Google Built-In, giving access to Google Maps, Google Play and Google Assistant, among other features.
The crossover again features the ProPILOT Assist system as well as the Around View Monitor with Moving Object Detection and 3D display. The Front Wide View and Invisible Hood View functions also remain on the roster.
Depending on the chosen equipment, the Murano also comes with front seats with a massage function.
Nissan mentions no significant mechanical changes for the 2027 model-year.
