Jock Clear, Jacques' former engineer at Williams, was a regular visitor on the Website and we got through him to get closer to Jacques.
We've had a lot of fun for many years and our relationship with the young driver became a little more friendly. Jacques was happy to see he had thousands of fans across the world, but almost all of them remained faceless names to him.

As you know, the last three years have not been the easiest for Jacques, who was fired from his BMW team by that sympathetic Mario Thiessens. The boss chose to get rid of Jacques when the first opportunity arose.
Since then, we've been hearing all sorts of rumors (not very clear ones) regarding his future career. Obviously, we're not interested in his private life, which means there isn't really anything we can talk about for the moment.
So, for that reason, we have decided in 2006 to permanently shut down the original Website, especially since Jacques is associated with two other on the WWW.

Since it is impossible for us to talk appropriately about Jacques and to comment on his present and future career, my advice to the numerous fans and medias who ask for our help to contact him is: send your requests to either one of his two Websites, preferably:
