Acura MDX – 2000-today

Needless to say, the automotive industry now revolves a lot around SUVs. The MDX, the brand's first true such model, appeared at the turn of the 2000s, and since then, the big vehicle has become a favourite with Canadian motorists. In fact, the MDX is the reason Acura is still around today, at least if you go by the model's strong sales figures in North America.
The MDX was preceded by the Acura SLX, which was an Isuzu Trooper with luxury added. Although if you don’t remember that model, don’t feel bad: it was never offered north of the Canada-US border, unlike the Isuzu 4x4.
