Some of the major techno-toys include a lightweight powertrain, an electronically-controlled suspension, and all-wheel drive. I'm for any of them in any car they want to build, since they're good for the car and the driver.

While the Aero X looks like a plaything, it has some "surprising practicality," which is in fact a quality you would expect to find in a Saab. In this model, the sculpted tail conceals a twin storage facility, with a conventional hatch opening and sliding drawer underneath.

"This study shows how the strength of the Saab brand heritage can inspire bold, innovative design," says Bryan Nesbitt, the executive-director of GM Design Europe. "As we move forward with new Saab products, we will remain focused on carefully cultivating this brand equity in the context of Scandinavian design values."

Not sure what that means in means in terms of something we can actually buy, but if it helps them decide to build something like the Saab Aero X I'm all for it.
