The new Alfa Romeo Giulia has received tremendous praise so far, as evidenced by its 40 awards and counting in Europe. This week at the prestigious Hôtel des Invalides in Paris, where the 32nd International Automobile Festival is taking place, the Italian sports sedan was named “Most Beautiful Car of the Year” for 2016 based on online votes.
Other finalists included the Citroën C3, Volvo V90, Fiat Spider 124, Peugeot 3008, Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe, and Renault Scénic.

During the same ceremony, the Renault TREZOR from the 2016 Paris Auto Show secured the “Most Beautiful Concept Car of the Year” award. The jury loved the “extreme beauty, sensuality, and elegance it exudes,” as well as “the cohesion of its overall design and the attention that has been paid to the details.” The interior puts the emphasis on driving enjoyment and features a large, enveloping touchscreen display that reinforces the cockpit feel.
