Finish driver Markus Niemela won the Atlantic series season finale at Road Atlanta and took, at the same time, both the championship and the Rookie of the year title as his main opponents, Jonathan Summerton and Jonathan Bomarito finished respectively 13th and 17th.
Canadians Kevin Lacroix and James Hinchcliffe had a great day with both of them finishing on the podium with a second place for Lacroix and third for Hinchcliffe.
