Audi dealer launches innovative sales program

TORONTO - Announced today at Audi Downtown Toronto was an innovative sales program designed to get noticed by premium car buyers and Audi's closest competitors.

The program challenges consumers to test drive an Audi to earn special savings toward a new Audi. Should they elect to purchase either a BMW or Mercedes-Benz instead, Audi Downtown Toronto will offer up to $1,000 savings off the purchase or lease from either brand.

"We want to share our confidence in the Audi line-up," said Shawn Morris, General Manager of Audi Downtown Toronto. "We believe that there's no vehicle in the market like an Audi and if a customer doesn't believe us after taking a new Audi for a test drive, we'll give them up to $1,000 towards their purchase or lease of a new BMW or Mercedes-Benz."

The dealership is owned by the Auto World Import Network (AWIN), which also owns BMW Autohaus and Mercedes-Benz Oakville Autohaus. Customers who elect not to purchase a new Audi after taking a test drive and are serious about purchasing a competitive model, will be provided with a certificate valid at either of the two eligible AWIN-owned BMW and Mercedes-Benz dealerships.

"From the runaway success of the Q5 crossover to the fuel-efficient Audi A3 TDI Sportback to the award winning Audi S4 sports sedan through the ravishing R8 supercar, there is an Audi for everyone," says Morris. "The Audi Downtown Toronto Test Drive Challenge makes it easy for customers to figure out which is their favourite Audi. Our goal is to keep them in the family and if they chose to purchase a competitor, to purchase from within our AWIN family," stated Morris.
