We're not just about fast cars here at Auto123.com, we also care about the kids who grow up dreaming about those fast cars. That's why we're taking the race track—on our bikes.
This fall, September 16th-18th, we'll be biking up a storm on the Montreal F1 track, Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve, raising money to grant wishes for terminally ill children across Quebec with the Make-A-Wish foundation. Last year, the foundation raised over $340,000 with 223 riders.
Two teams of 6 members each from the Auto123.com offices will take to the track for the 48-hour Ride for a Wish relay race, once the funds are raised, that will ensure there is always one rider from each team on the track at all times.
Auto123.com's Motorsport Editor René Fagnan will cycle on this race track he knows too well!
Day and night, our riders will put all they have into this relay, because we know if those kids could be out there with us, they would be, and they'd be putting 110% into it, so that means we have to as well.
In order to get out on the track, our team members need to reach a goal of $3,600 per team. Right now, we're sitting at 24% of our targeted goals, and we need your help! If we reach the $10,000 funds-raised mark, we get to adopt the wish of a child, which would be uber cool.
