There were plenty of highlights this past weekend at the Barrett-Jackson’s collector car auction in Scottsdale, Arizona. For example, the first-ever copy of the new 2016 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350R (VIN #001) fetched no less than $1 million.

More than 1,600 cars were auctioned by Barrett-Jackson led by a 1966 Shelby Cobra 427 Super Snake which earned the highest bid of the night at $5.1 million. The famous 1950 Futurliner Parade of Progress Tour bus created by GM was sold for $4 million, while the last BMW M5 “30 Jahre” edition to reach the U.S. went home for $700,000.

A grand total of $8,735,000 was raised by the auction for various charities.
