On April 29, Birdman (American rapper and founder of Ca$h Money Records) flaunted his riches by announcing on Twitter that he planned on buying the one-off Maybach Exelero for the modest sum of eight million, but it looks like it was all for show.
A spokesperson for Arnaud Massartic, current owner of the car, told MotorAuthority that the transaction still hadn’t been completed, hinting at serious financial difficulties – and a major case of inflated ego.
Forbes recently revealed that Birdman was still paying off his Maybach Landaulet (1.5 million) and Bugatti Veyron (2 million) as well as several other expensive machines in his trophy collection.
Ironically, in the meantime Jay-Z and Kanye West completely demolished a Maybach 57 for their last video…
