Runners up to the 5.0-litre V10's 344 point "Engine of the Year" win were the same manufacturer's 3.0-litre Diesel Twin-Turbo in second place with 215 points, Toyota's 1.5-litre Hybrid in third with 209 points, Volkswagen's 2.0-litre FSI Turbo in fourth with 154 points, BMW's 3.2-litre in fifth with 144 points, Fiat-GM's 1.3-litre Diesel in sixth with 139 points, Honda's 2.2-litre Diesel in seventh with 120 points, and Honda's 1-litre IMA with 50 points for eighth.
