BMW is introducing the all-new X4 M40i crossover, which will arrive in Canadian showrooms in February 2016 at a price that has yet to be announced.
Riding on 19” light-alloy wheels with all-season run-flat tires or exclusive two-tone 20” M wheels shod in Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires, the X4 M40i stands out with unique Ferric Gray metallic accents on the front of the vehicle and side mirrors. The rear end is low and wide, with L-shaped LED taillights, a redesigned diffuser, and black chrome tailpipes on both sides.
Under the hood, you’ll find a brand new M Performance TwinPower Turbo inline 6-cylinder engine (a world first). It produces 355 horsepower and 343 lb-ft of torque, accelerating from 0-100 km/h in just 4.9 seconds. An 8-speed STEPTRONIC automatic transmission and xDrive AWD system complete the powertrain.
The interior of the BMW X4 M40i, meanwhile, is full of luxurious and sporty touches. It can comfortably sit five people, and the leather-wrapped steering wheel has paddle shifters. BMW’s ConnectedDrive system is available, not to mention head-up display, lane departure warning, collision and pedestrian warnings, and more.
