Quietness and comfort (8/10)
On compacted or powder snow and on dry tarmac, they prove to be quiet, but on soaked surfaces, they become noisier. In terms of comfort, the cockpit is little affected. Sure, these Blizzaks are a bit firmer than summer tires, but they roll at cold temperatures which also impact the suspension.
Wear (9/10)
I expect to keep these tires for at least two more winters -- it will all depend on the kind of season we get. The more it snows, the less they wear out. Conversely, the more winter gets warm, the more their durability diminishes. Since frequent climate changes bring us a lot of surprises and rapidly varying road conditions, I prefer having them on all winter long.
