Defending championship winning team Lombardi Honda recently announced their drivers for the 2010 campaign.
Nick Wittmer will continue to represent the team and will be joined by two relatively new drivers, Alex Healy, from Ontario, and Quebecker Benjamin Distaulo.
Nick Wittmer is already very enthusiast about this 2010 season to begin in May, at Mosport. The 2009 champion is confident that the team will remain on top and fight for a new title.
"Win races and another championship will be my goals for 2010. I am confident that we once again have a very competitive package that will make us win", he said.
Alex Healy, from Ottawa, is last year's rookie of the year champion. He took ten top-10s in 16 races he participated in last season. Healy, 20, will be racing his first complete year in Canadian Touring Championship.
After a year on board of his own registered car in CCTCC, Benjamin Distaulo joins a very successful team hoping to secure the championship title. "I feel honoured to be part of this team", he said. "It might just be my best chance at a title with a winning team and a winning car!"
The series will renew with popular events in 2010 with a return to the Honda Indy GP, the GP3R and, although it remains to be confirmed, Formula 1's Canadian Grand Prix.
